IMAN IN THE MONTH OF JUNE, 2024
- On the 1st day of June, IMAN FCT Abuja in collaboration with Education Social and Medical Services (MESH) conducted a free Medical Outreach at Anagada Community, FCT Abuja. May Allah SWT bless and reward you abundantly.
- On the 4th day of June, IMAN National President who doubled as the Secretary General of the West African College of Pharmacist, Professor Ibrahim A.Oreagba served as a resource person in panel session of Global Summit. It was organized by the College of Medicine and Pharmaceutical students’ association. The tittle was *”Importance of Interdisciplinary Collaboration in health care: Synergy”. May Allah SWT bless and make it beneficial to the entire humanity.
- On the 9th day of June, IMAN Zamfara state chapter had it’s Special State Executive Council (SEC) meeting and inaugurated her standing committees at the state level. They also presented certificate of recognitions and merit to well deserved units branches and dignitaries. May Allah SWT give them the ability to execute their mandates and assist them in all their affairs.
- On the 19th day of June, a members of IMAN Edo State chapter and also a medical elder, Professor Salami had answered the call of his Creator. Until his death, he was a Consultant Dermatologist with Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua and a Professor of Medicine with Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. May Allah forgive him and grant him jannah. May Allah give Edo State IMAN and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
- On the 20th of June, the Ameera of IMAN Plateau State chapter, Dr Maryam Jamila Ali lost her grandmother to the cold hands of death. May Allah SWT have mercy on her and admit her into Al-jannatul Firdaus.
- On the 23rd day of June IMAN UDUTH/UDUS, Sokoto State chapter had her regular weekly clinic at Gwiwa Primary Health Care (PHC), Sokoto, Sokoto State. May Allah SWT reward them for the sustained performance.
- On the 26th day of June, IMAN Zamfara State Chapter had purchased a property of Land with an uncompleted structure for future permanent structures of IMAN. May Allah SWT give us the opportunity to invest in it’s completion and earns Allah’s reward.
- Between the 26th to 27th days of June, IMAN Yobe State chapter had cascades of Pre-AGM Lecture as follows:
A. The first lecture titled “Uniting against Drug Addiction: Effective Prevention, Community-Centric Rehabilitation, and Policy Measures in the North-East Nigeria” The lecture was delivered by Jumma’a Imams and Lawans (Village heads) of Damaturu LGA of Yobe State.
B. The second lecture titled “Personal development on Financial intelligence, Agriculture, Islamic culture cooperative: Untapped and Under-tapped opportunity in Financial Technology” These lecture series took place at Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State.
May Allah SWT bless and make it beneficial to the entire members of IMAN, Yobe State and Nigeria at large.
PROJECTS AHEAD OF IMAN
- Association of Muslim Health Students (AMHS) zone B Northern Conference which is coming up at Niger State between the 3rd to 7th of July, 2024.
- IMAN National Working Committee (NWC) meeting coming up at Ilorin, Kwara State on the 6th day of July, 2024.
- The Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) Annual Scientific Conference which will be hosted by the Islamic Medical Associations of South Africa (IMASA). It is coming up at Cape Town, South Africa between the 7th to 11th August, 2024 .
- The IMAN Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference “KANEM 2024” coming up at Maiduguri, the Capital Borno State. It is coming up between 2nd to 7th September, 2024. !SAVE THE DATES PLEASE!
