IMAN Trust announce plans for the establishment of its Microfinance bank
The Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria Multipurpose Cooperative Society, IMAN Trust, has announced plans for the establishment of its Microfinance bank.
President of the association, Professor Abdulrasheed Nasir stated this at a press briefing to commemorate the twentieth anniversary and unveiling of a new logo of IMAN Trust, held at its secretariat, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Oke Oyi.

Professor Nasir explained that IMAN Trust Fund had been operating an Islamic cooperative society without interest.
According to Professor Nasir, the core value of the association are based on piety, excellence, accountability, compassion, ethical investment and justice.

He said IMAN Trust Fund is involved in only halal businesses as it trades with members money to run the cooperative society.
Highlighting their achievements over the years, Professor Nasir pointed out that the association now has over two thousand members from and within the hospital community, with twelve staff overseeing the secretariat affairs and business management.

Earlier, the Chief Medical Director of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Professor Yusuf Abdullah Dasilva while unveiling the new logo of IMAN TRUST, congratulated the members for the laudable achievements.
Professor Dasilva who said that IMAN had contributed immensely to the growth of the hospital and its members, prayed for continuous upliftment of the society and its members.
