IMAN IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2023

Byiman

  1. On the 1st of October, 2023, the Sister’s forum of IMAN Sokoto had conducted free Medical Outreach and also distribution of food items, clothes, soap etc to members of Internally displaced persons (IDP) in Sokoto.
  2. On the 2nd of October, 2023 Alh. Umar Sanda was confirmed the new ruler of Gawu Babangida, Gurara LGA of Niger State.
  3. On the 8th of October, 2023, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of IMAN Nigeria had it’s first inaugural meeting via zoom medium.
  4. On the 13th and 14th of October, 2023, IMAN Ogun State chapter had a free medical outreach, blood donation drive and 2023 AGM respectively. The theme of the AGM was LABBAYK (at Your service, Oh Allah): Healthcare practices in the service of Allah while the subtheme was Ibaadah-friendly Hospital Services: A call to action.
  5. On the 15th of October, the sister’s forum of IMAN Plateau State chapter had conducted free eye screening to members of the general public and also commorate the World sight day with this year’s theme: “Love your eyes in work place”.
  6. And 15th October, 2023 IMAN Borno conducted free medical outreach for more than 600 people in Maiduguri.
  7. On the 22nd of October, Borno state chapter of IMAN had her 2023 AGM with the theme: “Haɗin kan Al’umma domin ci gaban Musulunci” (“The unity of the Ummah for the development of Islam”).
  8. On the 24th to 29th October, 2023 the FIMA council Meeting and conference, and 2023 AGM took place at Putrajaya, Malasia. IMAN Nigeria was well represented by the National President, Professor Ibrahim Oreagba, the VP 1, Pharm. Dr Muhammad Audi, the Immediate Past President of IMAN, Dr Salisu Ismail and the Assistant Editor in chief, Prof. Hajara Sulayman Umar.
  9. On the 26th of October, 2023, The IMAN Niger State chapter in collaboration with the wife of the Niger State Governor, Her Excellency, Haj. Fatima Mohammed Umar Bago had launched free Antenatal Care in Niger State.
  10. On the 26th of October, 2023, the Senate council of University of Ilorin, Kwara State had announced the Promotion of the IMAN National Secretary, Dr Abdurrasheed Nasir to the rank of Professor of Paediatric Surgery.
  11. On the 29th October, 2023, IMAN UDUS Sokoto had conducted free weekly medical outreach at Gwiwa PHC, adjacent Nadi academy, Gwiwa low-cost, sokoto.
